Are you able to help us pull off another amazing adaptive mountain biking (aMTB) event???

We are looking for lead and sweep riders for Copeland group rides on Oct 3, 4 as well as some support riders for downhill at Horseshoe. We will feed you lunch. We have coaches and riders familiar with the bikes so you don't need aMTB experience. We will feed you lunch!

LIGHT UP THE NIGHT!
Ever wonder if you’ve got the right lights for night riding? Handlebar light, helmet light, or both? Where should you mount them? What angle works best? And what the heck is a lumen, anyway?

The right light setup can make a HUGE difference in how you see the trail after dark. Learn how to choose and position your lights for better visibility, fewer shadows and dark spots, and more confidence when the sun goes down.

Join us for a FREE, hands-on Mountain Bike Light Clinic for Peace & Wheelies members, sponsored by The Crank & Sprocket Bicycle Co., featuring guest speaker Tristan Spurr.

What’s in store?
Learn what different lights do and which setup works best for you.
Get the lowdown on lumens, beam patterns, mounting and aiming your lights.
Try out multiple lights and compare setups for yourself.
Dial in your setup with demos on a closed course.
Once everyone is dialled in, we’ll head out for a short night ride!
Because night riding should be about flowing trails, finding your lines and having a blast — not wondering what’s lurking in that dark corner!

📍 Where: Horseshoe XC Nordic Centre parking lot
🕡 When: 6:30 PM

Dress warm, bring your lights if you have them, and pack an après beverage for a little post-ride social time.
Come curious, leave dialled in, and let’s get our night-riding stoke on!
Better lights. Better visibility. More confidence. More night-riding adventures.
See you out there!
